My name is Zach Smothers and I am a digital colorist whose big interest is colorizing black and white sitcoms. Most of my projects showcase examples of frame-by-frame painting, rotoscoping and motion tracking. My goal is to colorize video and images with dynamic and realistic colors, avoiding the flat look typically associated with traditional colorization processes. My work has been featured on popular websites including CNETThe Nerdist, A.V. ClubBoingBoing, The LAD Bible, Dangerous Minds, iHorror, Devour and Reddit. Please have a look at my portfolio and use the contact form for inquiries and commission requests.
